HNJH & TAS Partner for Hygiene Drive

bath products

Helen Newberry Joy Hospital is pleased to announce that they will be partnering with Tahquamenon Area Schools for a new initiative to provide hygiene products to students who may not have access to them otherwise. A month-long Hygiene Drive will take place from November 11th to December 20th. Students, parents, and community members are encouraged to bring new or unused hygiene products to the Hospital Main Entrance, Central Office at TAS, Newberry Motors, or Tahquamenon Area Credit Union in Newberry. All of the items collected will be given to the CAMP at the school to be distributed to students in need.

Newberry High School Senior and HNJH Marketing Intern, Carlee Corinth, noticed this need within her school and community and decided to do something about it. “Having good hygiene boosts your confidence and can even save you money in the long run. I want everyone to have access to these simple products that can make life much easier.” explained Carlee, “It’s one less thing people have to worry about.”

Items Needed:

  • Deodorant
  • Shampoo
  • Body wash
  • Combs/brushes
  • Toothpaste
  • Feminine products
  • Socks
  • Underwear
