While the COVID-19 vaccine has made its way to HNJH, distribution follows guidance from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) to ensure that those with the most critical need receive vaccination first. We have received permission from the State of Michigan to move into Phase 1B which includes persons 65 and older, beginning on January 11th.
Our clinic patients will have the opportunity to receive the vaccine. If you are 65 years and older and have a scheduled appointment with your PCP and would like the vaccine, please call your provider’s office.
Helen Newberry Joy Hospital will be holding appointment-only vaccination events.
